Paul Mallery

Faculty Senate Chair (2014-2015); Professor of Psychology, La Sierra University (hired 1993, tenured 1999, promoted 2006); WASC Accreditation Liaison Officer, 2006-2010; Honors Director, 2000-2007; Psychology Chair, 1994-1996. I encourage students to examine issues of justice and prejudice, groups and positions in society, and critically understand epistemological issues, especially the scientific method. Current classes include Social Psychology, Political Psychology, and Methods and Statistics of Research. My research is examining the relationship between Fowler's model of faith development (particularly bounds of social awareness) and prejudice.
